That’s the big question that so many have, but there’s not always an easy answer. Mistakes by an inexperienced installer cost time and money.
Rik Cannon saw an easy fix. “Simply make sure every installer is thoroughly trained and highly competent. And, just to make sure, have expert support available to them anytime.” This founding principle is the reason TCG has thrived for over 30 years, and the reason that 90% of TCG’s business comes from repeat customers and referrals.

David Styron / Chief Operations Officer
I began working in the technology industry about 15+ years ago, starting out as a DirecTV technician. I moved up quickly and was eventually promoted to trainer and even held the status “Tech of the Nation” for a period of time. Since then, I have moved on to more advanced levels within the audio/video industry. I have received various training certifications from Crestron and Control 4, including automation programmer, Crestron NVX networking/design, and certified network administrator just to name a few. In the end, I’ve always tried to have the installation look as good as it functions.

Caden Dieck / Field Technician
I began training in Technology integration during July of 2023. Learning in the field, going from project to project seeing hands on the different situations and systems and quickly learning how to diagnose and fix problems, I climbed my way to the position of Integration Field Technician. I have 4 years of prior experience in the live sound and music industry, playing Guitar for Bethel Church and Being very involved in the Worship team there. In the end, I have a passion for live music and production, learning and executing tasks to make systems function, and love to work hands on and be able to look back at my work and be proud of it.
